Eta: if I wasn't clear I think this is super cool to have on campus. My gripe was with the writer and that typical hyperbole, not the project itself.

I'm with you. This sounds very cool, but 2 phrases that are continuously overused by lazy writers are world class and state of the art.

The designation of "world class" applies to the design and construction, not the degree of difficulty. And this loop connects with a course that has been used for Olympic trials recently.
