I know A&M got some of the scraps and was able to bask in some of Bama's normal national spotlight, but Saban's appearance at Media Days is The State of the Union for CFB.
Unlike other coaches, Saban is asked macro questions affecting the national landscape, while coaches like Jumbo is asked about a backup left tackle or something.

Saban is the national face of CFB. They have more important questions as his opinion is valued as he often leverages his views into major resolutions to the sport.
