I know it’s early but I’m starting to worry a little about 2023 RB room.

Milton and McIntosh are likely gone. Edwards is a toss up. Robinson and Paul are unproven and will likely not get many carries this season. The majority of the top 25 guys in this class are committed elsewhere. Im not sure what the plan would be if Edwards were to bolt to the NFL after this season

I’m not sure how Edwards would bolt unless Milt or Mac got hurt and he exploded. We’ll be fine. RBs depend a lot on O line so if we block we’ll find runners.

The bigger concern I have is the NIL rumors that we r trying to do things the “right way” and show potential earnings for when they actually get here vs having an actual package already put together.

I would be shocked if we were not doing every single thing possible to take advantage of nil. I doubt Kirby would sit in the sidelines and let the tennessees of the world just openly pay players and us not.

I would tend to agree but I’ve seen that rumor more than once. Could be some element of truth to it. Like I said previously, we’ll be fine.

2023 RB room.

Milton and McIntosh are likely gone

Likely? For what reasons?

Both Zeus and Cook had far more NFL pedigree and returned for their 4th season.

McIntosh is a Sr. Milton will probably get the largest number carries and I think they will both go to the draft.

Because they'll both get the "largest number of carries?"

Sorry not seeing the reasoning here

ETA I thought McIntosh had another year
so obviously gone.

Technically, McIntosh could stay for his covid year. Along with having the most carries, I think that they will both have very productive seasons that will elevate them to the nfl draft discussion. I think they’re both gone after the 22 season.

Zeus was getting better with each season removed from 2 knee surgeries.
Cook was getting better with each season he was in athens. Some on this board thought he was undraftable after 2020.

I dont think the circumstances are the same for Milton and McIntosh.

You dont think either can or will improve?

There's still a learning curve for Milton and room for improvement. We'll see about McIntosh

Might as well have just had a picture of Jimbo up behind him through this segment (*first segment of the show, regarding NIL)

I see an opportunity for milton and mcintosh that wasnt available to zeus or cook. I think they both look to go to the 2023 nfl draft. If healthy this season, i dont expect them to need another year.

What’s even more troubling about Haynes is, we were his 3rd choice behind Ohio State and Alabama.
