I have a friend who is a Bama fan (he is a big follower of recruiting) who says that some insiders at Bama seem to think that Bama is on the right track with Reuben Randle. He said it is no way a guarantee or anything but that there is a lot of positive buzz surrounding the situation. With the crimson colored glasses off, where do you believe yall stand with Randle? Don't go off of your gut instinct. I wanted to know if there is any truth to this based off of info yall have heard or read.

yes I realize this. However, I just wanted to see what a Bama fan's opinion was of the situation.

Do you have anything to support that? I was just wondering b/c thats the first mention of Michigan I've heard. If you're joking, which I think you are, I was looking for serious answers if yall have any.

Not Scoop but I don't see him leaving LA. It is nice to entertain the thought but I just don't see it happening. (I hope I am wrong.)

Not a Bama fan, but rumors have been swirling like this for sometime. Dmitch went on the recruiting board and de-bunked them all.

Now, you say, he could be lying. But then why voluntarily go on a board and deny them. He could have just not said anything at all.

FWIW- I think this goes all the way to the All Star game or NSD and it is close but LSU wins out. I think it is just like Julio's recruitment when many thought OU was going to get him.

Probably because the info came from a Bama recruiting insider. That was his interpretation of Bama's situation with Randle. I wanted to see what other opinions were.

They can't take the red and white glasses off. They are attached, just like their mullets

all answers are welcome. He is just the most well known Bama fan that I could think of addressing it to. I hope you're right. I hope he's wearing purple and gold in the end but all of these rumors can sure throw some doubt in there.

Yeah I read that thread where he pretty much dispelled any and all Bama rumors but this is more recent information so I didn't know if something had changed from their (Bama's) point of view.

I think he stays at LSU. He'll take his visits. Saban is a helluva recruiter, and he'll listen, but like Chris Tolliver and Tyler Edwards he'll stay at home.

I sure hope you're right but have any of you read any of this info that I was talking about? My buddy said it came from a recruiting insider for Bama.

I always think a guy is going to stay in state until they pull a McKnight. I think RR stays in state.

It came from the BOL. The same "non biased" site that said that Tolliver, Edwards and C. Clement were locks to Bama last year.

Randle plays for Bradshaw who is a big time LSU supporter. He has two teammates from Bastrop, J. Downs and D. Benton, who will be Tigers as well. And Les Miles has proven to be an outstanding recruiter. I would put my money on LSU right now.

Me too. He's not coming here, I don't care what any recruiting service says. He's LSU's to lose.
