We have: 3 National Championships Auburn has 2 14 Conference championsips Auburn has 12 Even if you want to restrict it to the "last 40 years" we would win that argument. All that said, nobody said anything about Auburn until you came into the thread with this: Their trophy case is a large room compared to UGA's broom closet the last 20 years. And that is with playing in the West. Again. Wasn't it you who told a Georgia fan he needed to learn to read? You brought Auburn into it when you took a s

Now compare LSU to UGA which is what the post was about. It took a AU fan to put you in your place, so you wanted to bring them in. Really not much of a difference in AU and UGA, only one is:
1.The Flagship University of the State
2. In a State that produces the 3rd most recruiting talent in the country.
3. In a SEC Division that has consistently been average.

UGA pretty much underachieves in every sport.

And I have already said this was a weird thread. That said, you admit this thread has nothing to do with Auburn yet you felt compelled to come in here and lecture Georgia about hardware?

1.The Flagship University of the State

Explain to me what difference being the flagship makes? I mean...I have seen tons of Auburn recruits commit to "The University of Auburn". Should I name all of the schools with more hardware than Auburn that are not flagship schools? Or just more success?

And the running joke on the entire board, including the Auburn board is that Auburn is practically in the state of Georgia. Maybe you should ask yourself how Alabama has 18 titles and they are further from all that talent than Auburn is?

And yet we still managed to be the #1 team in the country last season.

What is your definition of underachieve?

This is such a silly argument. This is the complete opposite of what we as SEC fans say when a 7-5 SEC team throttles a 9-3 non-SEC team in a bowl game.

I encourage you to pick any year you want that makes sense (1992, the year the 2nd cross over was dropped, 2000, the year Mizzou and TAMU were added, whatever...) and actually disect Auburn's numbers vs. the East.

Auburn has a .415 winning percentage vs the east's half of the Big 6 since 1992. Even taking out the East's half of the Big 6, Auburn only has a +18 game winning advantage over Vandy, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Mizzou in the regular season since 1992 (30 seasons), so Auburn is only winning 60% of their games vs the lower half of the "average" SEC East.

For some comparison, Auburn has a .670 winning percentage vs. the non-Big 6 SEC West schools.

So by you saying the west is tough, what you are really saying is that LSU and Alabama dominate your arse, and since the Iron Bowl is the last game of the season, LSU beats Auburn's arse so badly, Auburn underperforms for the rest of the season vs the SEC East.

Maybe you can start an SEC West chant during crossover games or something.
