BIG just snagged the LA market, already has major footprint in NYC and Chicago. They are going to go after Georgia Tech and try and get into ATL. They could never fully capture that market but just getting in would be pretty devastating to the SEC. GA Tech will be in the SEC again and within the next 3 years

SEC has ATL, STL, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Nashville, New Oreleans, Tampa
BIG has LA, NYC, Chicago, DC, Philly
First and foremost is for the SEC to keep BIG out of ATL. SEC cant compete with that lineup of markets without getting creative. Snagging ND would be the obvious nuclear grand slam but it wont happen. Adding Clemson would help nationally to an extent but most already view them "like" the SEC. The best play for SEC in my opinion would be to go get the basketball bluebloods Kansas, UNC, Duke and bring in a national brand. I think that would propel the SEC into more rooms by far but would SEC add football doormats???

Georgia Tech will NEVER be in the SEC AGAIN.
They threw that away in 1963 because they were selfish and greedy.
