Les Miles had Saban's recruits and still needed the wackiest weekend in the history of college football to even be in position to win one. Ed Orgeron had Joe Burrow at QB and Joe Brady on staff. Miles was more responsible for 2007 than Orgeron was for 2019.

Also, using your logic, Saban's first title at Bama was won with Shula's recruits.
