hate on petrino all you want, but the man can coach. they have some ballers at wr who are freshman and next year they will have mallett throwing to them. add in dyer in a few years and their offense will be putting up points.

according to you, uf's defense was terrible because it gave up 7 points to them on the road

They'll be a MUCH improved team with Ryan Mallet, imo. Transition year + Casey Dick @ QB = completely miserable. If they've improved, I think it's a sign of things to come.

ULL could be as well, they got crushed at Hattiesburg and since then have gone 4-0 in the SBC and almost beaten two BCS teams

petrino is a great coach
if LSU hires him intead of miles we win it all in 2006 (2007? i don't know)

Petrino is a good coach and I am sure he will have Arky putting up points, but his teams have a history of not being able to play a lick of defense.
