They got the guy from Montana state who had off the charts underwear Olympics. He was a versatile guy for Montana State but his speed didn’t pop off the chart on tape and showed some issues shedding blocks. Uber talented guy but your comparing a very polished LB vs a guy your hoping becomes a beast. Have a feeling Dean starts year one and becomes one of those dudes that just gets the job done where the Montana kid doesn’t see the field at first because of his lack of seasoning at the position.

Montana St. kid was recruited as a QB and played running back for a season and had a 1000+ yard season before moving to LB. Very athletic but unpolished and had no business being drafted before Dean and Tindall. Likely not gonna see the field for a while. What are you gonna do? Falcons gonna Falcon.

I think the Falcons screwed up royally by passing on Dean, and even more so by passing on Davis in the first. That team hasn't stopped the run in 25 years and there was a solution to that and a general building block for a defense, but they went and took the slowest wide receiver in the draft.

There's a reason this franchise sucks so much.
