My FIL grew up in Gainesville and then attended UF

He said as a boy it was known to turn on the radio and lsu would be playing at night

This was in the early 60s

Now that makes sense, and reminds me of my dad saying the same (listening on WWL). We used to (in the mid-90s) listen to LSU games on drives back from Tuscaloosa at night when they'd be playing the ESPN night game.

Another great thing of the past lost.
