First, I've never seen anyone advocate against LSU getting night games. Moreover, I've not demanded LSU honor the Auburn-UGA game...ever.

I'm just pointing out that CBS circumstances impeding your "tradition" is a pretty silly reason to go all nihilist. I'm sure if they put it to a vote among SEC fans, people would have rallied to whatever LSU is upset about. This "us vs. them" thing is incredibly stupid in this context.

LSU bent the knee to TV executives as far back as 1984, when they hosted Notre Dame on ABC at 2:50 PM. 1985 was no different, when the Tigers hosted the Tide on the same network and at the same time.

Twisting the facts to make it seem like other SEC schools did this to LSU is bizarre and disingenuous.

Furthermore, I question the genuineness of this "night game tradition." Unless you're 55+, you likely don't remember a time when LSU only played night games.
