Maybe you are right, but I would be shocked. Happy, but shocked. The less powerful schools want 1&7, and there is more $ with the extra game. I just can't see Kentucky, South Carolina, Vandy, Missouri and the Mississippi schools getting what they want. But I don't really know anything, just guessing.

There's actually less games available for TV and for ticket sales if they go from 8 to 9 conference games. Think it's 8 less, but spread out over 13-14 weeks, and with 2 new teams' worth of inventory to play with, I'd hope it's not a big enough issue to force us into an inferior model.
