the 2 things he said that i liked were:

1) batting practice homeruns are one of the most least impressive things to him

2) i take it as a personal insult if a team shifts for any of my hitters

dude spoke some great hitting approaches. great interview.

Yep. Really simple but smart stuff. You can tell he's an effective communicator in terms of taking an idea and turning it into instruction that can be heard and applied by players. That's really difficult with stuff as hard and complicated as hitting.

Just thought he was super impressive.
