Just make it seingle elim. That means 6 games in 4 days. Very doable. Only pisses off DVH.

a lot different being able to do that in an 8 team tournament as opposed to a 12 team tournament.

True, but sometime you have to do whats best for the entire conference. The odds of Arkansas changing their fortunes for regionals in my eyes is slim. Their RPI just isn't where it needs to be to host. They'd basically need to run through the loser's bracket to Sunday so even stand a chance.
