Nick Saban is a very good coach and the greatest ever when it comes to landing amateur athletes.
He is not an NFL level coach. Those guys are truly elite, but also don't have to recruit which is 90% of college ball. I don't think a single top college coach would be nearly as good in the NFL. Almost every top coach in college ball is a recruiter first and relies on younger/smarter staff for strategy. Or at least they should (my biggest beef with my coach).
