Just fired a shot across the bow of every program who used the NIL money grab as an enticement players to atually sign with their school.
Said Bama came in 2nd without doing it but did not believe that was sustainable. So in the future Bama will be using NIL for recruiting. So look for Bama to out spend everyone else to make sure Bama gets the best players and #1 class.

Personally I think a Tuscaloosa car dealership decided to pay him because he plays for the home team, was the top rated high school player in his class, and stood a good chance of being All American and. Heisman candidate. Seems to have been a smart decision.
