If LSU was getting murdered we wouldnt have gone out and just gotten 13 scholarship players right off the bat. Woodward and Mark Emmert were close friends. I'm sure Emmert told him if you get rid of Wade the worst of everything goes away, it was clear they wanted Wade gone so that's the move Woodward made. They arent going to be coming in hot banning us for multiple years and taking away like 8 scholarships. If that was the case, again, we wouldnt have just invested like we did into the program with McMahon and getting 13 scholarship players. 1 year postseason ban and maybe a few scholarship reductions is probably going to be the worst of it...and it may not happen for years still seeing how long the NCAA has taken to even respond to Kansas responding to their NOA (And they took no action and basically told the NCAA to F off).
