Reported that the nfl in its internal “trial” presented only cases from 5 women. Maybe DW gets off lightly since the NFL “prosecutors “ did little....Maybe only a 6 game suspension....

The suspension will probably be announced next week. I have heard all the stuff about a light prosecution attempt and an expected light suspension and the flip side which is the whole nation saw the Real Sports expose’ on HBO and know that Watson deserves significant slap down...
In the end I think Goodell has to protect the image of the NFL and the 100s of billions $ invested in the NFL machine... an indefinite suspension and he can reapply to stop suspension next summer ie 10 months...
The thing is as soon as the suspension is announced more lawsuits will be filed against Watson..they can’t have him actually playing in games till this PR problem is handled certainly not while growing....
After this whole fiasco you have to believe the Browns management was so pressured to win big that they lost the ability to think rationally if they ever had that ability. I would think every Browns player wants out of that dumpster fire right now; none would be comfortable with Watson’s baggage and now they know the management is flawed.
