but honestly, few programs can buy as many elite players as boosters at Texas and USC can. Yeah, Nick Saban has been a regular in the playoffs, but he's one guy. I don't think many reasonable Alabama fans expect this consistently when he retires. USC and Texas would be like forever if there were no regulations against buying players, so that would eventually kill college football, and too many people make too much money on college football to let it die.
