Good question. He clearly has talent. But he has this fog-brained, lazy, no-fire type personality similar to Jalen Hurts.

It was so refreshing to see Ty Simpson get out there and play a sharp, crisp game with a sense of urgency. Every ball was a tight spiral. He plays the position like a guy who actually gives a damn.

Ty Simpson is lacking experience, but I think we’d have a better shot winning it all with him as the starting QB. At least he plays with intelligence and urgency instead of that cocky laziness that’s misinterpreted as “cool, calm, and collected”.

Bryce Young won the Heisman last year by default - because there was no one else (except Will Anderson). He’s good - don’t get me wrong, but he’s not as good as Tua or Mac Jones.
