Was the world fricked when Genghis Kahn was raping and pillaging Asia and Eastern Europe? When the Bubonic Plague wiped put 1/3 of Europe's population. Or when the Ottoman Empire slaughtered untold numbers of Greeks and Armenians. Or the atrocities the Japanese inflicted on the Chinese in the 1930's?
We live in relatively easy times when comparing human history to today.

This world is so fricked. Its almost negligent to find yourself unarmed at this point. So sorry for the dead and their families. God help us
I actually went to the local carnival last night, unarmed with only one officer present and he outside the fair. People were just having a good time and it was probably 80% teenagers there. It felt really weird because the Thomson fair was shutdown over violence, the Columbia county fair was better than the Augusta fair because of the heavy police presence and the Augusta fair you didn’t go unarmed and after 3pm. So it felt surreal to just walk around as a family enjoying ourselves.
