What were your baseball league names growing up?

We were "Buddy League" to start out, then Little League, then "Pony League" and then American Legion
T-ball and pitching machine ball didn't exist with us - guess I'm old

Mustang, Bronco, Pony and Colt
Only played through Bronco and then started playing on school teams. Legion after school season.

I guess I didn't explain very well
Buddy League for us started at kindergarten age and went for I guess went to age 9 or so
then Little League, whatever those ages are, 10-12 I guess
13-15 was Pony League
then American Legion

Little League - Pony League - high school - high school summer ball was called Dixie Majors

the "wood bats" thread made me think about all this

Farm league, Little league and Pony league. 2 years in each.

Also had to make sure you swung the bat with the label facing you.

Ours are:
Colt: 3/4 year olds. No outs/Runs 4 pitches of coach pitch then tee till they hit and run to first.
Shetland: 5 years 4 pitches of coach pitch then 2 attempts on tee to put it in play
Clydesdale: 6 years 5 pitches of coach pitch
Pinto: 7/8 years Same as above
Mustang: 9 year First season of Kid Pitch
Bronco: 10/11 kid pitch

Yea our Babe Ruth was from 13-16. Then American Legion was 17-19.

T-Ball, Minor League, Little League, Senior League.
I was playing T-Ball in 1975...No pitching machine ball back in those days.

Dixie Youth and Little League (played two leagues), then USSSA, DETBA (deep east texas baseball 16u), then high school LHSAA, and now I just work and drink beers.
