Oklahoma has oil, farmland, hardworking people, and they love football. They were in the confederacy like Texas, what’s the problem? They’re southern, even if it’s with a SW flair.

Oklahoma didn't become a state until 1907.

Some of the tribes supported the Confederacy.

anyone with a 3rd of a brain and can dissect a map of the United States can see that Norman and Austin and even Mizzou do qualify (some barely) as southeast United States

ETA: Lawrence Kansas would even barely qualify

Morgantown, WVa would not qualify, a near miss, but their culture would qualify. I'm a fan of Morgantown.

UVA and V Tech would qualify, anyone in Dallas/Houston would qualify

Louisville would certainly qualify
