Why not?

ETA I would argue that LSU actually didn't stop the run against you very well. Spiller averaged nearly 5 YPC vs LSU and Mond was around 4.

Ole Miss was barely a top 100 defense that year at #97, LSU was #65, and A&M was #14.

The LSU game wasn't a good indicator of A&M's season; it was an ugly win in cold and shitty weather that affected Mond's throwing. Vandy was the week before Bama so they couldn't show much.

Okay but Mond couldn't throw the ball and move the chains on third down which was the difference maker for A&M all season long.
