Tennessee is a dying star

Wrong. Apparently you were focused completely on your championship team last year, and didn't see anything that happened up the road. All things go in cycles, and we are finally cycling up. As the second best team in the south alltime, we are about to solidify our hold rather than still sitting in purgatory.

We remember those 7 wins and 6 losses. Hell of a season for the vols.

While I might disagree with Tennessee is a dying star it might be a tad early to start declaring UT in an upward cycle. In the last 10 years UT's records have been:

5-7
5-7
7-6
9-4
9-4
4-8
5-7
8-5
3-7
7-5

If your team can pull of 10 wins this coming season, I would say things might be looking up. But it wasn't that long ago Butch Jones had back to back 9-5 seasons and UT fans declared UT was back. Huepel seems to have you headed in a good direction, but maybe you shouldn't jump the gun just yet. Maybe. Maybe not. Tennessee is certainly playing a more exciting game right now, but Huepel needs to get that defense turned around or it will quickly turn back into the same ole, same ole.
