Where are all the KenPom pompoms for overrated Gonzaga?

I tried to tell those goofballs they were way overrated this year with no Suggs this year and their absysmal SOS. They didn't seem to care that they lost to Bama and Duke in their OOC schedule. Anybody not so enamored with them could see the warts then. Of course, those warts vanished and their so-called KenPom "efficiencies" skyrocketed against lousy competition in the WCC.

Their substandard guards were going to cost them eventually in the tourney. Memphis was the warning shot. Arkansas was the kill shot. Their weak guards could not handle the pressure, and Nembhard was dreadful, committing 5 TOs while shooting 2-11 on FGs for just 7 points.

Notae killed him. Suggs he is not. And that was basically the game as Timme could not bail out their guards, who combined went 10-36 from the field. And Gonzaga committed 15 TOs to boot. Some offensive efficiency there against a tough, tenacious D they never see in the WCC.

I think they'd have suffered at least 3 or 4 more losses, probably more, playing in a P6 conference with those substandard guards. And that's not a No. 1 overall seed for the tourney. And sure enough, they got booted out after winning 2 games while facing their first P6 team.

I thought this was gonna be a dig at Arkansas but it was a well thought out post instead.

RA'd to move to the correct board.

Gonzaga was overrated and Duke is underrated. I hate Duke too, but just being honest. Duke is the only complete team I've seen all year.

Thank you. And thanks to your team for ousting that overrated KenPom creation. But I think any number of teams could've done it. No dig at Arkansas.

And it was very good to see you knock the mustard off that Timme hot dog. He wasn't cheering himself on the court so such during that loss.

And that's one thing I admire about your Arkansas team. They just work hard, make baskets and run down the court. Not much celebrating until victory is in hand. That's a good reflection on your coach and players.

But I still think Williams flops too much! Can't like everything, you know. Ha! I hope we have better luck against your Hogs next year with our new coach. He has a lot of work to do to catch up.

Duke is for real this year. No help needed from the refs, who I thought could be in play tonight for Coach K going away year and all. Duke took that punch you threw at them early in the 2nd half and countered with a 10-0 run after K called a TO and switched to a zone D. Good coaching and better playing. I hate Duke but admire them as well. Still hoping Nova wins it all as I loathe Kansas as well.

BTW, is Notae coming back for his extra year of eligibility, if he has one, or is he making himself available for the draft? I admire that guy. So much heart and never hot dogging it.

I didn't think Notae had an extra year, but if he does I don't think he's coming back. I'm not sure he gets into the NBA right away but I can definitely see him making some noise in the G league. He's a good player.

Arkansas didn't have the offense to stay with Duke. Relying on Notae to score so many points a game was asking a lot. The defense carried the offense to an elite 8 but just didn't have the weapons on offense to go all the way.
