Yeah, I guess it's possible.
I don't imagine the NCAA will care too much about LSU waiting to make sure they could fire Wade with cause. Too many hypocritical coaches and mouthpieces crying for blood. Probably 1-2 years postseason ban and a handful of scholarships.
Pay Forde won't let it go though. LSU will probably have to threaten to sue him for libel.
