Has there been any mention of Vadal having any firsthand knowledge of what his parents were involved in? That was cam and auburn's out a few years back.
Why no mention of Rohan's mother having the same arrangement as the Alexander's? That's right it was years after Rohan left LSU. It doesn't fit their narrative. Point being neither situation involved recruiting. It was strictly a money laundering scheme that got the man prison time.
As for OBJ. All the money was collected and donated to charities.

Pretty sure the NCAA rules show no distinction between the player or their family receiving money. Seems like a fairly irrelevant distinction.
And I don't think they ever had concrete evidence of Cam's dad actually getting cash. There was no FBI investigation that turned up evidence that the NCAA could use against Auburn or Cam.
And I am not sure you will convince too many people that using the Alexanders had nothing to do with his playing football at LSU. Funes's operation just coincidentally found 2 families of players that happened to play at LSU when they were looking for people to help them launder money?
I read this narrative on the and the valley shook website. I guess it will convince LSU fans but not many others.
