I want Pitino, but probably some mountain west no name will get hired.

Sean Miller.
Anyone but Jonas or Pitino.
Anyone but Jonas or Pitino.

Jonas
Dennis Gates, Cleveland St.
Steve Forbes, Wake Forest
Andy something from USC
These are the guys reported to be in the running. Report from AJC.
It needs to be a homerun hire, whoever it is.

Andy Enfield. He's my choice if we can't get Miller.

frick that guy.
If they hire him then I will not give any $$$ whatsoever to the UGA AA until him and Brooks are gone.

Pitino is a no brainer if the choice is between two past cheaters. It would be dumb as hell to hire the one that didn't win a championship.

I had to look up Sean Miller, to see who he is. What I read said he is the former coach at U of Arizona. He played at U of Pittsburgh. What exactly is his connection to Georgia, the university or the state??
Will it make a difference as to who they hire? It seems whoever it is bombs out. If a guy has any success he gets on the first bus out of town to go to a new gig.

That's the spirit.
Attitudes like yours is why the program is where it's at.

IT's got to be a big hire. We are absolute $hit right now and need someone that can do it all right away.

That's only if they hire Pitino. I don't want that morally reprehensible creep anywhere near Athens.

I know that Forbes was extended. I was simply posting the info from the article.

Pitino would draw in some real talent.

But let's hire Sean Miller who was caught on tape planning to pay players, who has never won a championship, and whose former team that no longer has his coaching skills is 28-3 and has all but locked up the #2 overall tournament seed.
Yeah, that's a brilliant idea!

How about Pitino and Jonas. Pitino for 2-3 years to turn the program around and get a consistent high level of play, then he retires and Jonas takes over.

I’m expecting a lazy and underwhelming hire

Is McGarity still the AD? B/c if he was you'd be right.
He's not. Josh Brooks is. How bout we give him the benefit of the doubt?
