The NIL now makes it the NFL without salary caps or long term contracts, we either embrace it or continue to talk about hiring "good recruiting" coaches.

Separate organization, two divisions, one to raise funding, the other to structure contracts for new and existing players. Payouts per position by ranking, set benchmarks and let the coaches recruit.

We also need to revamp our recruiting admin office with another division for current players on other teams. To think we can pick up the phone AFTER a kid enters the portal is nonsense, most dont take a leap without knowing where they are headed (at least the good ones). Yeah yeah, rules about contacting, we have the contacts, we recruited them from high school, stay in contact with their HS coaches and let them know there is an option if they arent happy where they are. Its a hunting ground as lucrative as free agency in the pros it should be given the same attention.

Now back to the bullshite about our coaches dont go to bbqs and golf tourneys so they cant recruit.....and let A&M continue to pull in classes we could only dream about.....and tell me about Jimbo and how he got those players with his dynamic personality.
