I get why they do this - it makes the math simple - but I disagree with their methodology. The difference between finishing first and second is not the same as the difference between finishing second and third, or between twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth. There should be a larger points gap between 1st place and the rest of the field to reflect this. This model measures program consistency, not program success.
