The affair with an assistant is a worse offense. Freeze was more of a moral issue. But using the company phone to do illegal things was dumb.

If the affair happened, that will be kept under wraps to avoid damaging the University. They will pay him a portion of his buyout, make him sign a non-disclosure, and we will never hear the details.
Also, remember Auburn has a vacant OC position. It would be an easy transition to oust Harsin next year and just slide Hugh into the role.
Their methods are transparent.
Look down their noses at us all with their pretentious “Auburn values” - and when they hire slimeballs, preach second chances.
