I don't think you guys are paying millions and I don't think your class was completely due to NIL but it was baffling that Jimbo had a meltdown when it was suggested that NIL was at least a factor.
Obviously LSU and Texas being down plus a banner year for Houston area recruiting had some affect as well.

You are correct. Great recruiting staff. Other regional powers in turmoil. Ambiguous payment structure. Who knows. I hope we win. What are we here for?

His melt was because a made up report on the internet was being run as a national story and was being repeated by coaches and media that knew it was false. He also didn't care for the hypocrisy from Kiffin and Saban on NIL.
