I can see your point. There is nothing any of us can do about Harsin rn. We are stuck with him probably for a min of 2-3 more seasons. I am looking for positives. Gus is my baseline because he was our last coach and there is some pieces from his program we are dealing with. I just don't think it is realistic to expect this staff to pull elite top 100 talent at this point. If we are assuming Harsin stays and is successful at AU, he is going to have to develop 3* type guys and show he is a good coach. Maybe I am not in panic mode because my bar for Harsin isn't very high rn.

I’m not in panic mode over Harsin. I say let him do what he wants and he either wins or he’s gone.

I just see no reason to look for things to spin in his favor. I just try to be objective whether I like the guy or not (which I do like Harsin. I just don’t know if he’ll be successful).

Recruiting sucks right now. Just what it is. I wouldn’t expect us to kill it in recruiting when they just tried to fire him after one year anyways. So not even entirely his fault. But at the same time, I don’t really care who’s fault it is or isn’t. If he doesn’t fix it, we’ll have to move on to the next guy.

Sorry. Little off topic. Back to recruiting.
