Looks very winnable. Two new coaches (UF Oregon) and we draw Mississippi State from the West. Oregon is neutral site (Atlanta), Auburn is at home (and they'll have a new quarterback and OC) as is UT. I like our chances to run the table ...

I think we shouldn’t have to worry about UF for another couple years but Napier may be a problem , and closely watching what heupel does

Agreed. Can’t wait to see what the roster will look like going into next season. Still celebrating though! Go Dawgs!!

With free agency we have no idea who will be playing on which teams.

Oregon is gonna be hard pressed to find extra tickets for that opener.

We’re going to have quite a bit of shakeup in our depth chart.

We’re losing what… 8 or 9 of 11 base starters on defense, and then our top-2 sub-package guys? (Plus AA)

It’s gonna be really hard to replace Dean, Walker, and Tindall. I love Sherman and Monden, but we don’t actually know yet how comparable they will be. And what’s the depth behind them? And what happens if Nolan decides to go too?

It feels strangely thin in the LB room. Great prospects stepping in, but still unknown quantities at this moment.

Cine is surely declaring for the draft too, right? So our safeties are Jackson and Chambliss next year?

And Ringo, Green, Lassiter, and Bullard our CB’s with a bunch of 5-star freshmen as depth?

So our entire secondary only has 2 guys with any meaningful playtime?

Who’s at NT? Who are the guys next to Jalen Carter? Stackhouse, Walker, and Brinson?

A lot of really good players, but there is some easily noticeable falloff from what we just had out there. And, some obvious thinning of depth. Like any injuries on D next season and we could be in serious trouble, is what it feels like right now.

Hopefully the transfer portal will sure up those concerns, and I have confidence Kirby will make it so. But right now it’s a bit unsettling.

Offense isn’t really a concern. Even at QB. If Stet comes back, we all assume Beck and probably BVG are gone. JT is stuck, and Stockton is a freaking stud that could simply come in and take over. QB is the least of our worries.

The OL will be fine. It’s loaded and deep. And I have a gut feeling Zamir comes back. If not who cares. Milton, McIntosh, and Edwards, along with Robinson, is a ridiculous blessing of riches.

And we’re so loaded with receivers we could have 2-3 transfer out and still not even flinch at this point. Although I’d rather keep them all, of course.

We have a great 2022 class coming in that will be incredible in a year or 2 just like what we just had. But we need to understand there is going to be a gap in between or we’re not being honest with ourselves. Our defense is not going to average 10 ppg given up to opposition and hold 11 teams below 14pts again next season.
