What are the expectations for BK in his first full season at LSU?

Is this a full on rebuild season where he tears everything down to the studs and goes something like 4-8? Or is he expected to win from season 1 considering the talent level that is already there?
I was looking at the schedule and there are definitely 3 for sure wins and a bunch of toss up games.

7-5 or 8-4. You just saw LSU’s floor so you can hope for 4-8 but no way that’ll happen under kelly

He’ll still have close to top 10 talent. Definitely could be ranked top 15 by seasons end.

Our schedule sets us up nicely to build some confidence and gel before we start SEC play, I expect us go to 8-4, maybe 9-3 and win a bowl game. Anything more than that and I’ll be very happy. Brennan, Boutte and Bech staying healthy along with the OL and our cornerbacks developing will be key. DL will be one of our biggest strengths. Maason Smith finna eat

Don’t think so. Roster has to be rebuilt. This isn’t a hire for next year, it’s to rebuild the program.

Our Oline is in shambles
We have no corners left
We're crazy thin at QB and WR (although talented)
We don't have a TE

Raze & rebuild year
I think reasonable to expect .500 (bitter to type), but unlike 2020 and 2021, trajectory upwards and increasingly steep.

Nobody really knows what the AD and Admin expect out of BK, but if their expectations are anything like tRant (they're not) they expect BK to win a natty in 2022.
And even if he does, they will fire him in '23.

He has a losing record against SEC teams. Don't expect that to change.
