You and me both. You know you impacted a kid's life when years later you experience this. (Ten to be exact)

I was having heart issues with an irregular heartbeat. Down I went, 30 seconds to go in the first half. Fire fighters first, ambulance next. Paramedics working on me. I'm awake, (I wake when I hit the ground). Kid is working on me asking questions, stops and says "XXX XXXXX from Cross Bayou Little League?" My answer "Don't tell me you are one of my ball players." "No, I played for the Blue Jays. We all wanted to play for you and Cap" "Good, because all of my kids are in prison!" Crew starts laughing and this kid gets mad "No they aren't I see most of them everyday!" I reached over and patted his hand .."John, it's a joke man, nothing but a joke." He looked up and told them, "These guys know all about baseball, they don't yell and scream then make you out to be a fool. They coach and teach the things you need to know to be better."

We went undefeated for three years. 13-15 year olds ...

Thanks Luke. This forum is just fun and games. Literally I don’t think people on here understand my tone. Doesn’t bother me.

I definitely don’t want this to turn political or religion but those are my concerns on a whole. The ruin of a nation. What my children have to grow up in and support their families in the future. My oldest doesn’t want kids because of “cost”. I tell him if you are trying to find a budget to fit kids in you never will but God provides.

I’m not old but and would like to see all my boys grown and successful but whenever God wants me to go I have no problems going. And yes I have been put on blood pressure medication now so maybe that will resolve the issue. Sorry didn’t mean to get on the religion thing but I am called by God to be a watchman and to try to steer people to his salvation. Being the watchman is my most stressful endeavors. I have to frequently take breaks.

Corch, Doctor told me I needed a pacemaker. I asked if it meant the end of football. "End of football? This keeps you vertical on the field and ends 9-11pm calls to my home." He said the first person you will see is the plumber. (Cardiologist) He is a NCAA Official. He'll be glad to tell you what to expect .....besides ...he has one of my pacemakers and he's still doing Big 10 football.

Pacemaker made me feel like a kid again. Doctor happy, wife really happy.
