One true moment of college football in all its glory. This is beautiful.

This is what we all love about the game. For every terrible thing that has happened to college football with Covid and NIL and the transfer portal and teams quitting before their bowl games, here is this one beautiful moment of honor in defeat as they carry Kirklin off the field after an 81 yard touchdown pass on his final play of college after leading the Valiant 36 into one last battle.
This is why we love the game. I was happy to see it one more time.
I’m so proud of those boys for showing up.
Forever LSU. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

With the alma mater playing, #LSU senior WR turned QB for the night Jontre Kirklin soaks it all in for the final time. His last snap in purple-and-gold was a touchdown pass.

Yep, no doubt. We got one of those kids too.

It's kids like these that make you proud to love your team.

It really is great to see, isn’t it? Restores a bit of faith.
Thanks for sharing. Players like this are still on every team. Worth remembering.

In another week y’all will have played with 15 players

Is it true 13 were academically ineligible?
Puts all this valiant bs into a different perspective if true.

It was 39 and then we found a few more couldn’t play. Those academically ineligible take nothing away from those who showed up to play.
Why are you so bitter?

I’m not bitter.
Why are you trying to exaggerate the numbers and not tell the true story of why the numbers are depleted?

What about the "2 Stupid 4 Skool" 13?

Why do you give a shite how many were ineligible? Appreciate the ones that showed up and tried or frick off.
Posted on 1/5/22 at 1:54 am to cajunbama
If it got the numbers wrong, sorry. It was 39 before the game and then I thought I heard 3 more didn’t play. Maybe I got that wrong. 39. Fine, same difference.
The point of the thread was it was really cool to see Kirklin go out like that and express that kind of love for the game and his school.
Sorry that mad you mad. Weird, but okay.

Not mad, but not impressed either.
Do you normally romanticize losses or just losses with academically ineligible players in the teens?

You guys want everyone to tell you how brave and noble y’all are but it just doesn’t impress when you find out that you had 13 academically ineligible players

No one wants anything from you except to hear your heart stop beating.
You dumb motherfricker, it’s not about the ones that weren’t there for whatever the reason. The point of his post was to show appreciation for the guys that showed up and played. Do you not get that? Does some need to draw it out in crayon? Put your bib on, your shirt and diaper are getting soaked.

Melt, bitch.
The reason they weren’t there is because they were academically ineligible.
I’m not impressed that the eligible ones showed up. What were they supposed to do? What do you want from me? To tell you how impressed I am that they remained eligible and didn’t quit? That’s what they are supposed to do.
Yay, they are so great for doing what they are supposed to do. Ya-hooooo!!!

No one wants anything from you shitstain. I told you in the previous that I didn’t care to hear anything from you.
I explained the gist of the OP but you’re too fricking dumb to get it. He didn’t ask that you praise anyone did he?
You seem intent on shitting on LSU’s athletes every chance you get. In turn I’m going to shite on you every chance I get.

I didn’t shite on them.
What you want is for everyone to tell you how great and noble and valiant this LSU team is because they had 13 academically ineligible players and lost to a big 12 bottom dweller, but I refuse and that hurts your fee fee’s

LSU so low they’re begging for participation trophies. Treating these kids like they invaded Normandy when all they did was show up and to get killed. Appreciate their effort, butcome on now.
and speaking of nils, opt outs, transfers. This is just capitalism at it’s finest. You love capitalism until it touches and ruins something you love. The old system you want back, where players only get an education in exchange for football serviices rendered is about as communist as it gets.
The irony. The hypocrisy. It’d be hysterical if it wasn’t so sad. Oh well. I’ll laugh anyway. That’s why I come here. To laugh at all the fools.

You’re the a-hole that shits on LSU every opportunity. Like I said, I’ll return the favor.
