I saw some $400 upper level seats available on secondary ticket markets. In 2018, it was $1600 for nosebleeds at the Benz. Flights are insane out if Birmingham or Atlanta as expected.

And in recognition of the sacrifice you make to pay for the $1800 round trip ticket there is a 50/50 chance the airline will just cancel your shite with a couple hours notice anyway.

I think Indy is only a what, 7-8 hour drive from each?

Not ideal, but certainly doable, even as a same-day trip up (leave Monday morning, come back Tuesday).

Of course that's probably $200 in gas.

I expect to see ticket prices continue to drop. This morning there were 50 yard line seats in the uppers for $750 after fees. That’s half of what they were just to get into the game and sit in the upper corner of the endzone a few years ago.

Indy isn’t an easy trip for either fanbase.

But I’ll be there if any of you LSU fans reading this thread want to catch a country boy arse whooping.

Not a lot of Sonics in the area, may have to settle for the A&W

Only 6 hour drive from Huntsville
The school lower sections are:
Alabama Sections 102-108
Georgia Sections 128-136

Fair enough. Maybe we can meet inside the dome for a beer then.

Where are you leaving from? Flights from Atlanta to Indy are only $208. So long are you're willing to drive (2-3hr), you can get a better price in Columbus or Cincinnati

ETA: $108 was for February which is when Georgia plays

You sure you’re searching the correct dates? I haven’t seen anything close to that.

You’re spot on about flying into different cities to get there, though. Cincinnati, Louisville, Columbus, and even Chicago. All drivable with substantially cheaper flights, for the most part.

nah - what you saw was a shiny hook "Sale" sign without reading the hidden fine print not including 30% commission, transfer fee, and sales tax."
