I always start in the trenches. My O line has to get a stalemate up front. I don’t expect to push UGA around. If Owens can’t go things get dicey. He couldn’t handle the speed of 21 on Cincy but he matches up better here.

My D line has to win. Fit the run and rush Bennett with discipline. Knock the ball down if they don’t get home. He’s 5’11” but unlike Bryce doesn’t throw well off platform. I don’t care what happened with Michigan. Collapse the pocket. Make those feet nervous. Move that dork off his spot but make him beat you with his arm. He’s not that guy.

Little concerned with the corners. Technique is loose and I think 6 can be had especially deep. On a positive note, GA doesn’t have any world beaters on the outside.

In the 3rd Clemson game Saban solved the Renfro riddle by putting Minkah on him with the other 10 running the scheme. I think he goes back to it. Branch takes 19 and the rest play ball. I think Saban trusts Branch like Minkah therefore so do I.

Bama wins because we have the best coach and quarterback. Somebody is going to have to make an adjustment in this game. Mix in tempo, personnel change…etc. Who do you trust.

Over the last three games, Anderson, Turner and Mathis have combined for 15 TFL and 11 sacks. Alabama leads the conference in sacks and is third nationally.

Ga torched Michigan with James Cook going in motion and setting up out wide. He got deep on them a couple of times and Bennett made a couple of good deep throws, which he usually doesnt complete. I guess Christian Harris followed him out there when we played them. That might have made it easier for their tight end? We absolutely could not cover him. Michigan basically ran their strength right at Ga's defensive strength--right to that big nose tackle. We did a good job or spreading the field and running him around in the SEC game. I hope we can get things going again on them. Run his but into the ground and dont let him go out. Hopefully Bryce starts a little faster this game.
