What happened?

Okay. You saw your team finally beat OSU and then handle Iowa pretty good in the B10CG. You took that, as is normal for fans starving for relevance, to mean that you had become elite enough to beat anyone. You took that excitement and went way overboard with confidence that UM would crush UGA, especially based on what you saw in the SECCG.

Then the game happened tonight and you saw your team get man handled. The announcers said it best. The talent gap between the two teams was borderline unfair. UGA destroyed your OL and completely neutralized your two defensive ends. If I recall, those were the position groups that you lauded the last two weeks.

It was laughable how much both were dominated. I thought of you running your mouth throughout the game.

That’s what happened.

I'll give Mel Kiper credit. He said before the game that Georgia had almost 3X more players that had NFL draft grades over Michigan (18-7) and he also thought Georgia would win by 3 TD's.

He might be a blowhard but his evaluation about this game was spot on.

There's your talent gap. UGA played bama in the SEC championship game and Michigan played IOwa. These were the warmup games for this one
