enteirng the transfer portal only means other coaches are allowed to contact you to recruit you, it doesn't necessarily mean you are off the team. Some coaches like Dabo have a rule that you are off the team as soon as you enter, but that's a team rule, not an NCAA rule. Technically, a guy can enter the portal, not like where he's getting offers, and decided to stay. Each team handles it a little bit differently.

What’s the deal with Emory Jones? I kinda like him as an option for Ole Miss, but our fans kinda shite on that. BTW, we have a linebacker committed to Louisville in the portal who is playing in the sugar bowl.
