Rating the basketball teams as of right now

I have watched everyone play at least twice and this little time-killing exercise is by no means rocket science. I don't doubt that the NC will come out of the SEC this year because there are some very talented and well-coached teams in this conference.
1. Auburn
2. Kentucky
3. Alabama
4. Tennessee
5. LSU
6. Arkansas
7. Florida
8. Miss St.
9. Texas A&M
10. USCe
11.Ole Miss
12.Georgia
13. Vandy
14.Missouri
The top 5 can be mixed and mingled but the AU depth is why I expect them to win the SEC. Most folks say Alabama is above Kentucky but their front court is not where it needs to be. A lot can change but this is based on RIGHT NOW and the ramblings of an old man on a dreary,cold day

I think LSUs defense is going to shock the SEC this year. We aren’t an offensive juggernaut by any means, but we have a defense that will keep us in nearly every game.

No, not in my eyes, or not yet anyways. I watched them play 4 times, Albany,Notre Dame,Duke and Southern. They lost two of those and Southern gave them a hard time off and on. Alabama's guards will give them fits

We are better than Vandy at least. I don't see how they got smoked by SMU.

Tennessee ahead of LSU is laughable. Arky too high and Kentucky too high.

Don't overrate our win over UNC too much. I think that bunch I saw Saturday was worse than any Matt Doherty Tar Heel team.
I don't know who we are. We didn't look great but we played Duke tough and close to open. We had a terrible effort v Notre Dame, but played grabass and gave it away.
I'm not trying to bemoan our team or be negative because I saw so much to love v UNC. The energy, from coach to the court to the bench. The passing....guys looking for the open man to get pts on a a breakaway. Guys doing garbage work. A lot of "brothers keeper" stuff as a Cal says.
WKU coming in here tomorrow WILL be a good test. We all know Rick Stansbury. And several KY guys on that roster. They beat Louisville on Saturday. Those guys are going to come in here ready to fight and are going to play their arse off against us.
If we are for real, we will frick them up anyway. I want to see something like UK 85 WKU 67
