The only team that loses rivalries in this setup is LSU. LSU loses all 3 annual games that I look forward to the most and replaces them with Texas, Oklahoma, and Mizzou, which isn’t the worst possible tradeoff, I guess.

So, 7 division games and 2 rotating cross division games has every team playing every other team home and @home every 8 years, which isn’t ideal, but isn’t terrible either. If I was a fan of virtually any team, this would be my ideal schedule solution.

Thats the way i look at it. Sucks to lose AU/Bama/UF each year but on the flip side adding OU/UT easily replaces 2 of those.

And if we're honest we dont have one of those old old school rivalries dating back forever like some other schools do. If they want to preserve rivalries it will be the ones like AU/bama, UGa/UF, Mississippi schools, bama/tn, etc...which this setup does
