It is an interesting observation that Saban doesn’t think that highly of Alabama high school players. Does he think the Alabama high school coaches don’t do a good job of development or something?

saban thinks very highly of alabama hs football though.

it’s just alabama recruits too well not to load up from many other states in most years. louisiana just one among many there obviously.

6 of the top 10 players in Alabama in 2022 signed with Alabama...the rest signed with Florida, Oregon, Texas and Auburn.

In 2021 3 of the top 10 went to Alabama...the rest, LSU, UGA, FSU and Auburn.

2020 7 of the top 10 went to Bama.

2019 4 of the top 10 went to Bama.
