It's sort of off-season so let's laugh at the posers at Arkansas State

As a kid, I always checked to see if the ASU Indians had won, and nobody in Arkansas had any reason to root against them during Larry Lacewell's years or before.
Then came the whiners from there after they moved to 1A. All the sudden they thought they deserved equal footing with the Razorbacks because they had creeped into 1A during the times Louisiana-Monroe and etc did the same.
So...the "Frank Broyles has always screwed us" stuff was a pure lie from the start.
LSU never played ULM for instance until after they'd become 1A and then not even until 2003 or whatnot. But at least ULM was not sky screaming about LSU being unfair to them.

I saw a tweet last week that had ASU as one of the 5 worst teams in the country. As someone who grew up near Jonesboro, my first thought was “there’s the ASU I’ve known most of my life.”

so the main reason this got on my mind was the latest Pulaski Academy QB there decided to transfer for his grad years and I saw fans of theirs trashing the kid. Layne Hatcher. So I look up Layne on a general google search to look at his stats (he's like 4th leading passer in their history), and they had completely deleted him from their 2021 roster, even though he played this year and Butch Jones put a FSU transfer in front of him.
They literally deleted him off the 2021 roster for transferring for 2022.
Just like 5-7 years ago with them trashing Fredi Knighten for wishing good luck to his Pulaski Academy buddy Hunter Henry in our bowl game.
So then I went to that douchebag message board of theirs and sure enough some are trashing Hatcher. They said he "bolted on them" in May of 2018 for accepting an Alabama preferred walkon spot instead of the preferred walkon spot at ASU
He bolted on them! He left them in the lurch! The preferred walkon offer kid!

Checked it again. To find his experience at ASU at all, you have to google "Arkansas State football roster" and you pull up the roster grid.
For 2021, he's not on it.
Then tab to 2020 roster on the site, and finally he's still at least showing on the 2020 roster.

I grew up in NEA and graduated from ASU. Moved away and haven’t followed them since. 30 years ago. I don’t even care enough to laugh at them. I’ve been a Hog since birth.
Edit: I’ve never contributed a dime to ASU, but I’ve been a RF member for almost 20 years.
