The conferences that are "left behind" need to become more competitive. The Pac 12 and ACC should be lucky that the SEC chose to raid the Big 12 instead of the Big East and ACC in 2012, or else the Big 12 would have raided the PAC and left them and the ACC on the outside looking in, and the PAC would have been doubly fricked
