A few years back (after a UGA loss in the SECcg) I posted that we'd never see a SEC champ score less than 35 ever again.
I got crushed. Called prisoner of the moment, etc.
Today. I really hoped we might hold them to 28 and win. Didn't happen.
Outscore is the name of the game.

Um, it literally *always* has been. If you score more than the other team, you win. If you don't, you lose. Defense is simply one tool - hopefully, it limits the opponent's ability to score, and if you're really lucky, it even chips in a few points to help your offense.

We had the defense to do it, but they needed help from the Offense. IMHO
Actually, they needed help from the offenses QB.
