2017 - Tua
2018 - Hurts, Burrow
2019 - Burrow
2020 - Jones, Trask
2021 - Young

Happens every year, and we're not doing anything to change it.

Offensive strategy has to change or we're just going to see the same results every season.

Zero sacks. No pressure. Not sure if they believed their own hype or if theyre not that good

Defensive front was without question the biggest no show today

That was biggest surprise of the day to me. Saban or somebody coached the heck out of that OL that gave up 35 sacks coming in to this game. Also a great plan...they apparently knew they could tire out our big guys.

But also, let's face it: Bryce Young is a top level QB and he moves the pocket and gets out of jams...

Kirby brought Monken in to change the offense but same story when we run up against an elite offense. The defense gets exposed and we can't score enough points to win in a shoot-out.

Neither. Our coaches felt like we could get pressure rushing 3 or 4 players. We could not, and they didn't adjust until midway through the 3rd quarter.

Once we adjusted we slowed them down a lot. IF we make the playoffs, (no guarantee anymore) I suspect we rush more players the entire game.

The offense is fine. We drove the ball on several occasions, but mistakes cost us offensively.

I also don’t think it hurt they were playing without Metchie.

It helped, but Young was on the run almost from the snap. Metchie would not have slowed down our rush.
