Notre Dame is trying to live off what happened 40-100 years ago.

Notre Dame is to cheap to compete nowdays.

Notre Dame and it’s fans are still living in the early 1970’s. Don’t tell them though.

The story is that Kelly heard LSUs offer and bolted immediately. ND negotiations never even happened because Kelly didn't give them the time of day. Just left.

Maybe Kelly wanted a legitimate shot at winning something meaningful at this point in his career?

If this is true then there’s no way they don’t jump into the ACC by next realignment. Independent isn’t cutting it anymore. Honestly the big 12 could have saved themselves had they convinced ND to join.
